I dare do all that may become a man;
Who dares do more is none.

(Macbeth ACT 1, Scene VII)

When Photographing, I greatly enjoy space, the details of its form, its performance, and materials. As a passionate Designer, I believe my experiences help me perceive and compose images differently.

While studying Architecture, many of my influences stemmed from different Artists and mediums, including Photography, Poetry, and Painting. One Artist in particular was Surrealist Rene Magritte. The way Magritte manipulated perspective and light within his images, creating a syntactical experience with the Language and Space — left a lasting impact on me and continues to influence me today.

In addition to artists like Magritte, realist Edward Hopper's in- framed scenes of people — in space, in time, in a moment, helped my explorations in creating scenes. At times, street Photography evokes an emotional connection to place and time. In particular, Garry Winograd and Robert Frank's work provides a feeling of place only Edward Hopper's paintings exhibit.

Before completing my Architectural Studies, one of my most influential experiences as a student was visiting the Ray Kappe house. Although more in line with early modernism, Kappe's design philosophy, aesthetic, and process greatly influenced my approach to design. His emphasis on form and materiality while simultaneously creating spaces that interact with their surroundings, has inspired me throughout my career. In addition, his ability to make decisions in what seemed to be a complex site was a catalyst in defining my endeavors. Many significant eclectic influences like Sullivan, Wright, Scarpa, Hejduk, Lautner, Ray, Morphosis, and Gehry have impacted my journey.

After five years of Undergrad at SCIARC, I worked for Frank Gehry for three years. I was involved in various projects, including Abu Dhabi's Guggenheim, a single-family home in Northern California, a multi-family commercial project on Sunset Blvd, and the Hennessy bottle. My experience working on physical models, photography, construction documents, rendering, and presentation packages allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the design process and an attention to detail. In all of those processes, I enjoyed photographing models and Architecture the most. In many instances, image-making would be all I would look forward to.

Concluding Gehry partners, I took a year off to travel and explore my Art and endeavors. I spent many days walking and shooting landscapes and streets. These days, I like to spend my time working on a classic Mercedes, surfing, woodworking, photography, music, and other art projects.

My strengths lie in my ability to operate between analog and digital mediums and my understanding of space and its correlations to form. I understand the importance of alacrity and precision in delivering successful projects.

In conclusion, I believe that my diverse range of experiences and my passion for design help me create unique photography. I am excited about possibly working with you and contributing to the production of exceptional work. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to hearing from you soon.
